Docs — what Atlas Inspect checks

Atlas Inspect is a read-only website inspection platform. Paste a public address; Atlas opens every same-origin page it can reach and reports what it actually observed.

What is checked

• Crawl — every same-origin page, status, console errors, failed requests, headers, DOM.
• Security headers — CSP, HSTS, X-Content-Type-Options, Referrer-Policy, Permissions-Policy, frame options, mixed content, leaked-secret patterns.
• SEO & indexability — title, description, canonical, Open Graph, one H1, robots.txt, sitemap, orphan pages, duplicate metadata.
• AI crawler matrix — the entry page is fetched as GPTBot, OAI-SearchBot, ChatGPT-User, ClaudeBot, Claude-Web, anthropic-ai, PerplexityBot, Perplexity-User, Googlebot, CCBot, Bytespider, cohere-ai, Applebot, meta-externalagent and Amazonbot, and each answer is compared with a real browser.
• AI discovery — /llms.txt, /ai/index.json, /ai-summary.json, /catalog.json.
• Structured data — every JSON-LD block is parsed; Organization, WebSite, BreadcrumbList and FAQPage coverage is reported.
• DNS, email and TLS — A/AAAA/CNAME, MX, SPF, DMARC, DKIM selectors, certificate issuer, protocol and days left.
• Accessibility — automated baseline plus pa11y WCAG checks.
• Performance — Lighthouse categories with LCP, CLS, TBT, FCP and Speed Index values.
• Link health — real HTTP status for internal links and a sample of external ones.
• Trust surface — privacy, terms, contact, accessibility statement, security.txt.
• Content quality — word depth, thin pages, duplicate titles, average page depth.
• Responsive — horizontal overflow on a 390 px phone and an 820 px tablet.

The score

Ten categories are scored 0–100 from the findings that were actually produced, and the overall score is their average. A category that did not run is reported as not measured; it is never counted as a pass. Grades: A ≥ 90, B ≥ 80, C ≥ 70, D ≥ 55, F below 55.

Fix prompts

Every finding carries a ready prompt naming the page, the problem and the fix. Paste it into any coding agent — Cursor, Claude, ChatGPT — and it has the context it needs.

Limits and refusals

Public http(s) on ports 80 and 443 only. Loopback, private networks, link-local addresses and cloud metadata endpoints are refused before the browser starts. Atlas Inspect never logs in, submits a form, pays, deletes anything or rewrites the inspected site. Active vulnerability templates run only on domains the Owner has verified as his own.

Retention

Reports and screenshots stay on the Atlas VPS for seven days. Delete a report at any time with the Delete button.
